What is cloisonne?  It is a hand made decorative enamel work where-in metal filaments are fused to the surface of an object to outline a design that is then filled in by hand with enamel paste. Kiln fired, the enamel hardens and provides a long lasting design that stays as beautiful as the day it was bought.
